Say Ça! recruit volunteers!

Say Ça! is looking for new volunteers to work with our students during our tutoring and workshop sessions. This Montreal-based non-profit organization helps refugee and immigrant children (ages 10-18) adapt and thrive in their new life in Canada.

We offer free English and French courses customized to meet their language needs, weekly group workshops and monthly cultural outings.

WHAT IS OUR VISION?

The vision of Say Ça! is to give young students the tools they need to succeed. Our volunteers work with youth and their families to build safe spaces and strong relationships. Our approach is to enrich and empower our young students through an enriching human relationship and an appreciation of diversity.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

After 4 years of constant growth and an increasing number of students, we are looking for volunteers to lead our Saturday morning tutoring and workshop sessions for a minimum of 3 months.

Usual schedule of one session :

  • 09:00-10:00: English tutoring,
  • 10:00-11:00: French tutoring,
  • 11:00-12:00: Group workshop.

Workplace: online (usually Guy-Concordia station)
Volunteering 3 hours a week

THE IDEAL CANDIDATE HAS

  • Bilingualism (French and English) is mandatory,
  • Experience in training with young people,
  • Be a punctual, reliable, dynamic and proactive person.
