Scavenger Hunt in the Old Port

Our first outing of the fall!

Our outing began with a guided tour of Notre Dame Basilica, located in the heart of Old Montreal. We learned the history of the Basilica, which is one of the most popular attractions of the city throughout the year. We then divided ourselves into small groups to do a treasure hunt prepared by Élise, our event coordinator. With hints and clues prepared ahead of time, each group of students had to recognize the various attractions and monuments of the Old Port, then go to the spot to take a picture in front. Moreover, our students had to ask for help from Montrealers to find their way to the various attractions on their list, this added a nice community dynamic to our cultural outing.

During the day, we discovered the Ferris Wheel of Montréal, the Bonsecours Market, Chinatown, the Palais des Congrès, etc. We would like to thank the Montrealers who took the time to stop and help our students complete their scavenger hunt!
