What’s more stimulating and rewarding than discovering the city of Montreal by walking in its streets in search of witnesses of its history? Last Saturday, July 27th, 6 teams in competition, accompanied by 11 tutors, scoured Old Montreal for two hours with the help of some clues and a road map.
For example, do you know what is special about Square-Victoria-OACI ? Or do you know where a fragment of the infamous Berlin Wall given in 1992 is exhibited? Did you know that a former fire station built in 1903 was turned into a museum, the Montreal History Center, in 1983?
The purpose of this outing was to show Old Montreal to our young people through monuments and works of art. They had the opportunity to discover them under a radiant sun and to get acquainted a little more with the city that welcomed them as well as their families.
Say Ça! congratulates to all participants !
